Dear Fink Land,

I have been trying to get CERNLIB installed on my machine
(10.6.1 with XCode 3.2 with the additional gfortran from the R
project). I need this for my analysis at D0 (More specifically
MN_FIT). I have tried several different ways to get this working
which included using an old script from Remi passed on by another D0
member. Nothing has worked. I have recently tried the Fink way. I
must say that I am just a little bit concerned with Fink wanting to
install gcc 4.4.1 where as my system compiler from Apple is 4.2.1. I
would have thought that it would have used my system compiler.
So, on to the CERNLIB build. I have received the same error
that an individual got some time ago:

This is the output from when I run the command "sudo fink install
cernlib2005-gfortran-dev". The interesting thing is that I have imake
installed on my system because I was trying to compile and install
CERNLIB 2006 by hand. So, why did it not use the system imake? What
is the status of this? I really need this to work. Thanks for any
input.
