I have got Quanta running on OS X 10.5.8, but with a couple of issues:
First, when booting it in X11 i get the error:
Error setting up inter-process communications for KDECould not read network
connections list/Users/~/DCOPserver_unknown...etcPlease check that DCOPServer
is running
In the Terminal window at this point it says:kdeinit: Aborting. bind() failed:
: Address already in useCould not bind to socket
'/private/var/folders/WC/WCK+4X1AGzOOPdq96o2exE+++TI/-Tmp-/ksocket-anthonymills/kdeinit_/tmp/launch-BJXJJe/_0
I've googled this DCOPserver issue and gather it's a common (Linux) issue but
can't find a solution there or Fink FAQ.  Quanta still iinitialises once I ok
this window.
Quanta then lists missing applications - Cervisia - despite the fact that the
latest build is installed (I solved the previous issue by installing Cervisia)
and I've checked that QT3.3 and KDElib3.5 are installed too, which Cervisia
requires.Any suggestions on these? Thanks
