Often people don't need that.  The most common reason to use that option
is if you've been downloading tarballs for something else, such as if
you have separate 32-bit and 64-bit Fink installations on Snow Leopard.

You can just take the default option, which is not to use that (that's
why we don't make a big deal out of it).
