I'm assuming you're on OS 10.6, since on 10.5 /usr/lib/libxml2.2.dylib is only version 9.0.0 . Can you post a full output transcript of an attempt to use fink, then, so that we can see more context? The behavior you're reporting essentially never happens unless DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/sw/lib is set. - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAksZiTMACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ9FSgCeKyWIKpls3qPN81xMHdtRBquq 9+wAniK9eWzL7wLZddZurdqLwYW2txuI =9Jaf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us December 9, 2009 for the Red Hat Virtual Experience, a free event focused on virtualization and cloud computing.
