I'm thinking about switching to use Fink php5 on Snow Leopard instead of the default PHP5 that comes with it. I've been hesitating to switch because everything's working alright with the defaults. I prefer the way that Fink allows me to add PHP modules/extensions easily though. This is the major benefit to switching I think.
Has anyone got any suggestions on this? Should I do it? Am I going to run into trouble if I do it? I don't want to get stuck with several hours of troubleshooting in order to make the switch.
