http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/g77 you need to enable the unstable tree to see g77. http://www.finkproject.org/faq/usage-fink.php?phpLang=en#unstable That being said, Fink's current root5 package doesn't depend on it. Are you building root yourself, rather than using Fink's package?
