I think that did the trick. It took a while before it finished. Installing
pidgin took well over 2 hours. I doubt thats normal but when I perform "fink
install pidgin" now it says:
Information about 3612 packages read in 0 seconds.
No packages to install.
Is this correct? And now that it's done how do I actually start it?
All the trouble for just an MSN messenger client....
