I have now tried building ghc-6.8.3-2 on a mac pro and a macbook pro (both i386) and unfortunately ghc now builds perfectly, but any attempt to run the resulting executable just returns "Abort trap". I'm guessing that's not good news...
I've deleted everything and am recompiling from redownloaded sources on the mac pro, but I don't expect a different result. Any suggestions welcome. Richard. On 14 Jul 2010, at 18:54, David R.
