Hi all,
The following occurs when I try to install Octave:
Reading buildlock packages...
All buildlocks accounted for.
While trying to install:
libgettext3-dev-0.14.5-2
The following inconsistencies found:
libgettext8-dev conflicts with libgettext3-dev, but libgettext3-dev is
installed
Trying to resolve dependencies...
Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies!
Fink isn't sure how to install the above packages safely. You may be able to fix
things by
running:
fink scanpackages
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libgettext3-dev=0.14.5-2
Failed: Fink::SysState: Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies

I have tried the above instructions but still the failure persists.
Computer information:
Mac OS X 10.6.4
Fink: version: 0.29.10
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Tue Jul 20 14:52:12 2010, 10.6, i386
