I used the fink install command to install numpy-py26 (this should be numpy 1.4 that will work with python 2.6). I currently have python 2.6 installed (came with the mac mini os x 10.6.4 operating system).
When I now run python and import numpy then print the version, it always comes up with the old version of numpy 1.2.1 Why am I not running numpy 1.4.1 by default now that I have installed it with fink?
