Here's what I have:

It's a brand new machine (2.2Ghz i7, 8GB RAM, 7200 RPM drive: woot!), in my 
hands 2 days.  I'm not sure what state it was in out of the box, as our IT guy 
installed a bunch of required stuff on it before I got my hands on it.  In any 
case, Software Updates doesn't want to install anything new.  I haven't 
installed Netbeans or any of my Java development stuff on it yet, so I can't 
vouch for the integrity of the Java environment in any way.
