Hello,
I am a new on Fink. I need to install netCDF but cannot achieve it.
(I am on MacOS 10.6.7 and have fink 0.29.21).
Here is what I have done :
- fink selfupdate
Information about 4461 packages read in 0 seconds.
No packages to install.
The core packages have been updated. You should now update the other
packages
using commands like 'fink update-all'.
- fink update-all > ok
- fink install netcdf > ok
- fink list netcdf
Information about 4461 packages read in 7 seconds.
i netcdf 3.6.3-2 Interface & lib for array-based data
access
i netcdf-bin 3.6.3-2 Interface & lib for array-based data
access
netcdf-gfortran 3.6.3-5 Interface & lib for array-based data
access
netcdf-gfortran 3.6.3-5 Interface & lib for array-based data
access
i netcdf-shlibs 3.6.3-2 Interface & lib for array-based data
access
- fink install netcdf-fortran ; it says :
The following 4 additional packages will be installed:
gcc44 gcc44-compiler gcc44-shlibs netcdf-gfortran-shlibs
and there is a lot of commands ...
But at the end, when I list, there is not i next to netcdf-gfortran.
I suppose it is because I did not used the default path for the
installation of Fink but I don't know waht to do.
Thank you for your help,
Viêt.
