Following up.
The package links to X11's libpng instead of Fink's:
$ otool -L /sw32/bin/fig2dev
/sw32/bin/fig2dev:
/sw32/lib/libpng12.0.dylib (compatibility version 45.0.0, current
version 45.0.0)
/usr/lib/libz.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version
1.2.3)
/usr/X11/lib/libXpm.4.dylib (compatibility version 16.0.0, current
version 16.0.0)
/usr/X11/lib/libX11.6.dylib (compatibility version 9.0.0, current
version 9.0.0)
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current
version 125.2.11)
I reproduced this error on 10.5 with Xquartz 2.6.1 installed. That has
libpng15, and it's not exactly compatible with other libpng versions.
The package should be fixed to ensure that it uses fink's libpng.
