Hi!

I am trying to install gawk on snowleopard with fink.
I am completely new at mac and fink, so might be something very stupid..
sorry in advance

I installed fink, everything seemed to work find. I kept all mirrors and
repo to default.
when I try to install gawk, i get :

sudo apt-get install gawk
Password:
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package gawk

sudo apt-get update
fink update-all
fink scanpackages
fink selfupdate-rsync
as advise by forums I read, everything seemed to work fine but it didn't
solve my problem..

when I check fink list, gawk is in the list.

I must be missing something, but what? :)

(I dont really want to make fink works, i just need gawk. so if you know a
simple to get it, it help also)

Thanks!
