I've just upgraded from snow leopard to lion and virtually nothing works,
including fink... I need to re-install it and I read that using:

> dpkg --get-selections | cut -f1 > fink_packages.txt

will store a list of everything that's currently installed so I can just
replace it all after re-installing.

When I run this though, nothing happens - do I need to run this command in a
particular directory?

Cheers

Anna
