/usr/bin/arch does not come with xcode; it is part of the basic system. There are other suspicious things: /usr/bin/arch pretends to have a link count of 61061, which is basically impossible without file system corruption (unless your 'ls' command is something non-standard, and this number has a different meaning). Your /usr/bin/perl5.10.0 claims to be from Jun 24 2009, which looks too old for a 10.6.8 system. From your earlier messages it seems to me that your environment is not correctly set up for Fink (PATH and @INC don't behave as they should). I would guess that you either have a very weird shell setup that makes standard commands behave strangely, or your system is damaged and wants reinstalling. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
