That looks correct for fink-0.32.6.

So the complaint is that the first argument to store_rename isn't a
reference, but is some other sort of object, and this is probably
keeping you from indexing.

Let's see the output from the following:

dpkg -L fink | xargs grep "#.*perl" | grep -v "Is a directory"
