That's probably going to be painful.  The last version of AFNI says to
use Fink but wants people to use a library that we don't provide on 10.7
or 10.8.  Meaning that if you follow their directions it won't work.
Apparently they didn't bother to check.

We've got a package description for afni for Fink which may just need a
little tweaking to work on 10.7.  I'll follow up in a bit on that.

You only typically need to run selfupdate once after an error, just to
make sure that you have the latest description for how to build the package.

That's correct, normally, but sourceforge.net, where we have our CVS
server, appears to have disabled anonymous access recently.  We'll look
into what the situation is.
