Alex,
I downloaded the correct gmp5.info file, installed it with the gmp5.patch file
to make the downgrade, and was able to compile ppl9. Then tried to install
grace, but am getting errors in the compilation of gcc47-4.7.2, which ends with:
checking for suffix of object files... configure: error: in
`/sw/src/fink.build/gcc47-4.7.2-1000/darwin_objdir/x86_64-apple-darwin12.2.0/libgcc':configure:

The direction to "See 'config.log' for more details" means to look at the
config.log file for libgcc? Several errors appear in that log file, are these
what you would need to proceed further?
