Try running "fink install gri" again. Nothing in what you posted provides any real information that we can use to debug what is going on. A potential source of problems can be from always choosing the default options, because those are just the first item in a list of packages and there isn't anything to force those choices to be consistent. Read through any options that you are given and try to pick ones where the package names are compatible. If that still doesn't work, it is often easier to see what is causing dependency inconsistencies once you get to the point where no new packages are being built.
