You have a status file which is inconsistent, and that prevents all other package operations. Edit /sw/var/lib/dpkg/status as an administrator, such as by using "sudo nano /sw/var/lib/dpkg/status", go near line 3406 and change the entry for fink-buildlock-libiconv-1.12-6 to look like Package: fink-buildlock-libiconv-1.12-6 Status: purge ok not-installed Section: unknown Architecture: darwin-x86_64 -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison My package updates: http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list Fink-beginners@lists.sourceforge.net List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.beginners Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
