Hello,
on mac os 10.9 I have removed the /sw folder several times and get on a new
install every time
the error messages:
alpha:Documents gre$ /sw/bin/xv Fraunhofer_cropped.tif
dyld: Library not loaded: /sw/lib/libtiff.5.dylib
Referenced from: /sw/bin/xv
Reason: Incompatible library version: xv requires version 8.0.0 or later, but
libtiff.5.dylib provides version 6.0.0
Trace/BPT trap: 5
For this error message I have installed fink and xv only.
Also other programs under /sw complain of old tiff version. This is very funny
because
xv has worked always under all mac os versions < 10.9 with each tiff version.
I’m at one’s wits’ end.
