I just installed fink for the first time and got the package installation running properly. I can isntall other packages without incident.
I'm trying to install opennms http://www.opennms.com on Mavericks 10.9 and after following install instructions can't seem to get past a dependency to install opennms-pgsql. I have postgres installed and running, any attempts to run the following: herbiehancock:~ herbsthaword$ fink install opennms *Result in this error:* Information about 8358 packages read in 10 seconds. Can't resolve dependency "opennms-pgsql" for package "opennms-1.8.16-32" (no matching packages/versions found) Exiting with failure. ----------------------------- I can't figure out what exactly is wrong. I tried 'fink show-deps opennms' to show dependencies and I'm installing the specific package dependencies, but the system continues to return the same error "no package version available" Anyone experienced this and know how to get around it? I'm stuck, but really want to try opennms as a monitoring tool. Appreciate any pointers. -- View this message in context: http://fink.9193.n7.nabble.com/Mavericks-10-9-cannot-install-opennms-due-to-opennms-pgsql-dependency-tp45078.html Sent from the fink-beginners mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls.
