Ah, there must have been a temporary connection issue.
The .cvspass messages are warnings, though. Like I said, you shouldn’t need a
password. What do you get from running "cat /sw/fink/CVS/Root” in a terminal
window?
My guess is that the error is due to the files marked with a C. You might try
renaming or removing those files. This is covered in FAQ 5.13:
