You can check your Xcode and command-line tools versions quickly by using “fink list -t xcode”. Also, since you said you updated from Mavericks to Yosemite, if you didn’t reinstall the Xcode command line tools afterwards you will need to do so. The reason some packages build and some do not is generally related to particular headers that get changed between dfiferent Xcode and OS versions. If your command-line tools have been already updated for Yosemite and their version is compatible with your Xcode.app version, then you can check the contents of /sw/src/fink.build/openmotif4-2.3.4-10/motif-2.3.4/config.log around where it says “checking whether the C compiler works” to see what test is being run and what error messages show up there. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
