The build is set up to look for /usr/X11/include/X11/Xlib.h (or possibly
/usr/X11/include/X11/Xlib.h . Use
sudo ln -s /opt/X11 /usr/X11
sudo ln -s /opt/X11 /usr/X11R6
and then try the build again.
