Hello, Even when I try 'fink selfupdate', I get the same error. No matter what command I give in fink, I always get the single-line error code: arch: /usr/bin/perl5.12 isn't executable
It's not the question of a specific package, I guess. Ever since I upgraded my mac to Yosemite, fink always complains with the same error. My current version of fink is 0.34.2. My guess is that you were given an option to use a perl5124 version of some package, and that shouldn’t have actually been available for 10.10. Try your install again, if you get asked to select among multiple perl versions (-pm) for a package, select the pm5182 variant, since that uses the Perl that comes with 10.10. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list Fink-beginners@lists.sourceforge.net List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.beginners Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
