Description: Internet measurement tool
DescDetail: <<
scamper is a program that is able to conduct internet measurement
tasks to large numbers of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, in parallel,
to fill a specified packets-per-second rate.
Currently, it supports the well-known ping and traceroute techniques.
DescUsage: <<
This package contains the following tools, besides the "scamper" executable:
 sc_analysis_dump, sc_attach,
 warts-cat, warts-dump, warts-fix, warts2traceroute.
Only scamper has a man page.
Some of the other tools are described on the scamper home site, or here:
DescPort: <<
The scamper executable is made suid root.
The package can therefore not be built with --build-as-nobody.
