Remove some useless code
The only thing this loop was doing was to generate some warnings.
However, these were redundant, as some other code a few lines later
would output the very same warnings (and more).

Remove redundant warning / improve warning in case of a 'conflicts' check
This also corrects a regression from the previous patch, where specifying
an invalid package name as dependency could trigger a corresponding
identical warning *twice*. Now you still get two warnings (if your
verbosity level is set to >= 2), but the second one is quite different.
