Description: Simple portaudio bindings for python
DescPort: <<
PyAudio provides Python bindings for PortAudio, the cross-platform audio I/O
Library. With PyAudio, you can easily use Python to play and record audio on a
variety of platforms.

PyAudio is designed to work with the PortAudio v19 API 2.0. Note that PyAudio
currently only supports blocking-mode audio I/O. PyAudio is still super-duper
alpha quality.

<<

DescDetail: <<
pyexiv2 is a python binding to exiv2, the C++ library for manipulation
of EXIF and IPTC image metadata. It is a python module that allows
your python scripts to read and write metadata (EXIF, IPTC, thumbnail)
embedded in image files (JPEG, TIFF, ...).

It is designed as a high level interface to the functionalities
offered by exiv2 (and is built on top of it). Using python's built-in
data types and standard modules, it provides easy manipulation of
image metadata.

Description: The astronomy library for Python
DescDetail: <<
PyEphem provides scientific-grade astronomical computations for the Python
programming language. Given a date and location on the Earth's surface, it can
compute the positions of the Sun and Moon, of the planets and their moons, and
of any asteroids, comets, or earth satellites whose orbital elements the user
can provide. Additional functions are provided to compute the angular
separation between two objects in the sky, to determine the constellation in
which an object lies, and to find the times at which an object rises,
transits, and sets on a particular day.
<<
DescUsage: <<
Please note that despite the package's name is "pyephem" you must import it
using "import ephem" at python prompt. Read the documentation in
 %p/share/doc/%n/doc for further informations.
