Hi Ben,

please, it would be terrific if could find some time to react to this email:

The Fink server has been down for an extended period now, and we think that we
really should change finkproject.org to point to something that works, e.g. the
SF.net server.

As far as I could learn, you are hosting the DNS server. Could you please help
us with getting DNS changed?

Even better: Could you arrange for a way so that more of us get access to the
DNS? That would be *very* important to improve our bus factor...

Or perhaps there are already people who should be able to modify the DNS
entries? But who???

Alternatively: I would offer to take over maintainership of the finkproject.org
domain. I have been doing so for scummvm.org for many years (and continue to do
so, even though I stepped down as their project lead and left the project some
time ago -- so far it seems everybody is happy with that). In that case, I
would host the domain with a company that "only" allows administer the DNS via
a web interface -- but one that can do everything we need, *and* that makes it
possible to grant access to multiple other people (so that we are not dependent
on one person).

Cheers,
Max
