Hi AIDA,

The recent update to Xquartz 2.8 broke the package xinitrc because it moved xinit from X11/lib/X11/xinit to X11/etc/X11/xinit [1]. I was hoping to submit a fix for this change but can't find where the repository might be living. Is it on github? Thanks,

Hi Tomoaki,

You're listed in Fink's commit logs as having pushed upgrades to Fink's xinitrc package many years ago from v1.0 to v1.3. Do you happen to still have copies around of those source tarballs? We need to update the xinitrc package to deal with the above change to Xquartz itself, and it would be nice to have some of the historical sources. Thanks,

Hanspeter
