The libpng library has been updated recently in a way that is not backward-compatible. Our new shared libraries policy can handle this gracefully, but only after every package which Depends on libpng is revised to say: Depends: libpng-shlibs BuildDepends: libpng
The new libpng3 and libpng3-shlibs packages are now in the unstable tree, but they conflict with any package which has not been revised as above. This is a request to the package maintainers of the affected packages to make this change. The packages are listed below. (If you would like me to do the work, just let me know and I will upload revised versions of your packages.)
