One of my packages, minicom, the first time it is run, asks you to run it as root with the - -s option, so that a working site config can be created. It is up to the sys admin to make sure the settings are correct. The problem with this is that dpkg and therefore fink knows nothing about this file when it comes time to remove the package. if ConfFiles smart enough to not care if this file is not packaged with the .deb, but will still try to remove it at remove time? What would be the best way to remove this file if it cant? a post-remove script?
