Another place where, someday, we will need updating of essential packages is ncurses. There was an error in the naming of the dylibs in that package (the main one is called /sw/lib/libncurses.dylib.5.2) and I imagine that at the same time as we repair this, we could create a -shlibs split as well.
Just something to add to the list, once we've got a good strategy for updating the essential packages! We will also probably want to create -shlibs for libiconv at some point. The only other essential package which contains dylibs is bzip2, and in that case it is probably not necessary to make a -shlibs split. -- Dave _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
