-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there,
I have noticed a problem which must have something to do with sourceforge displaying the "select your favourite mirror" page when you try to directly download a page... so what I get is not the actual tar-archive, but a bogus page, like so: [eris:~/tmp/download] kyrah% fink install freetype sudo /sw/bin/fink 'install' 'freetype' Reading package info... Information about 191 packages read. curl -L -s -S -o freetype-1.3.1.tar.gz http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/freetype/freetype-1.3.1.tar.gz mkdir -p /sw/src/freetype-1.3.1-2 gzip -dc /sw/src/freetype-1.3.1.tar.gz | tar -xf - gzip: /sw/src/freetype-1.3.1.tar.gz: not in gzip format Failed: directory /sw/src/freetype-1.3.1-2/freetype-1.3.1 doesn't exist, check the package description I am sorry if I'm wasting your time with this, but are you aware of this problem? What is the recommended way to work around it?
