That only helps if you use apt-get (i.e. the binary distro) to obtain your .deb files. Hence it won't help in Paul's case. Paul, I have been working on a "fink cleanup" command that does this and other things, but work is progressing slowly (not because it's very difficult but more because I have to many other things to do). So you could get the lastest Fink version from CVS and try it.... Or you could manually go thru the dirs and delete the files you don't need anymore. Quite some work if you want to clean everything, but even deleting some of the biggest chunks can be big space saver. Cheers, Max Please reply with the correct email subject. I know this is a little bit more work if you get the digest, but it's not very informative to get emails with a subject of "Re: Fink-devel digest, Vol 1 #541 - 5 msgs". Better email clients even can do that semi-automatic for you I think. -- ----------------------------------------------- Max Horn Software Developer email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> phone: (+49) 6151-494890 _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
