Hi,
sorry for this somewhat OT request, but I could really need some help
in getting octave ported to OS X (again).
The maintainers of octave have moved their code to gcc3.x and also
added some fixes for OS X that I have contributed.
Problem is that they later changed the build machinery to fit
cygwin/mingw which totally broke any attempt of building a fully
functioning version of octave on OS X.
So, if anybody is looking for an interesting port, look no further. The
support from someone with a good understanding of autoconf et al as
well as working with dynamic and shared libs under both OS X and Linux
would be greatly appreciated.
