Precisely. I went further and invoked "ls" after setting
"DYLD_PREBIND_DEBUG", and got this:
dyld: ls: prebinding disabled because library: /sw/lib/libintl.1.dylib got slid
dyld: in notify_prebinding_agent() determined the system shared regions ARE used
dyld: 2 two-level prebound libraries used out of 4
What the heck is "got slid"? I googled for that and got not a single hit.
Except after this gets archived, of course. :)
