I have been trying out lots of my own .info files, making changes to the install script fields mostly, but I now get an error with any fink command. [user-112uidi:~] mhough% fink list
Reading package info...
Failed: Error performing percent expansion: nesting to deep! at /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/Services.pm line 285.
Could someone suggest a path for me to follow to determine more about what went wrong? Thanks in advance.
You might try to use the "fs_usage" tool to figure out which one it is. Run "sudo fs_usage | grep info" in one terminal, then run "fink list" or "fink index" in another. Might work, or maybe not...
If that fails i'd try moving things out of the way till it works...
