(Disclaimer: I'm not a developer, just a user, but no one maintains the bundle-gnome package, so here I am.)Hi, I was installing the bundle-gnome package today. At some point, it ended with this error:
A known error, has been on the bug tracker for a while. []
This is not so easy. gtkhtml does have a dependency on gal21, so if you just do "fink install gtkhtml", there is no problem. The problem arises when you use bundle-gnome to install a whole bunch of packages at once. The same problem also has been appearing at "fink update-all" recently. Some of the packages in bundle-gnome (build-)depend on gal19 and others on gal21.I'm bringing this up because shouldn't someone fix the script so that gal21 is installed before gthtml if it will error out like this?
Looking at the dependencies for a while, I don't have a solution to offer, but I am rather surprised that bundle-gnome does not outright refuse to start building, because it has the conflicting packages gal19 and gal21 in its dependency tree.
