I might have put it into the wrong cocoon of words, I am NOT suggesting that we move the whole infrastructure off sourceforge.net. I would be stupid to suggest that, yet I would prefer to have my own domain to give away mail addresses, to organise people on a web based calendar, team building thing and have some room to put the documentation on a different Server than the one on sourceforge. Maybe because I want to use swish-e or swish++ or htdig to go through the documentation.
That sounds fine to me.

The sponsored server would be an additional plus for us, the current development infrastructure would not be touched.
I apologise for not making the clear in the first place
No worries, misunderstandings can happen.

I guess that revives the discussiong from #fink which domain name to choose? :-)
