I just did an update, and a new /sw/etc/apt/sources.list is supplied - which contains incorrect paths (apt-get update returns 404 errors). Changing "10.2/release" back to just "release" fixed the problem.

Don't. Leave it as 10.2. There are NO binaries for 10.2 yet which is why it is 404. Currently they are pointing at 10.1 binaries, many of which will not even work.

It will be there in the future.
