One suggestion:  I subscribed to fink-announce so I would hear as soon as
it was out, but it doesn't look like anything's been sent?  I would think
this would qualify if anything did!  You might want to send something so
that others will get the word.

I wasn't involved in this release at all, so I can't say anything regarding that. But yeah, a post should be sent to fink-announce, and also a SF.net news item be posted, so that SF.net can put us up front, too
