but there are packages in unstable that can't be installed when i have freetype2-hinting installed. simple example: - install freetype2-hinting and try to install one of the packages from my list (bundle-kde-ssl, imagemagick,...)

Yes it is not needed, because, freetype2-hinting provides: freetype2:

Conflicts: freetype2
Replaces: freetype2
Provides: freetype2
