Dear Fink developers, I've created a new CVS branch for the fink module (where development is done on the fink package manager), and named it "isystem".
I've moved to this module the proposed changes for default values of the environment variables CPPFLAGS, LDFLAGS, LIBRARY_PATH, DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH. One of those changes was to add the flag "-isystem" to CPPFLAGS, which is why I chose the name "isystem". I did this because it has become clear that quite a bit of testing still needs to be done, and some existing Fink packages will need to be modified, before we can make this change in a released version of the fink pakcage manager. On the other hand, there have been a number of other changes in the past few months, and we need to be able to release a version of the package manager which incorporates those other changes. I encourage all of you to continue to test the proposed new default values. But I also encourage everyone to quickly and thoroughly test the new TOT on the main branch, so that we can release fink-0.11.2 quite soon.
