Someone pointed out to me that Apple in 10.2 and higher supplies its own FFT, BLAS and LAPACK libraries. For the FFT library it claims that some of the routines are 5x faster than FFTW.

Has anyone compared these to FFTW and atlas installed via fink? Are there any known problems with linking to these libraries?
