As discussed a few days ago, there is now a new license option for Fink, License: Restrictive/Distributable (for non-open source packages which allow distribution of binaries). This is now documented at http://fink.sourceforge.net/doc/packaging/policy.php#licenses
In addition, I have modified the licenses on the following packages to be the new license: analog, foiltex, ghostscript, ghostscript-fonts, ghostscript-nox, ghostscript6, ghostscript6-nox, mpg123, openmotif3, vim, vim-nox, xinvaders This simply agrees with current practice, since those are the Restrictive packages which are included in the 0.5.1 distribution. If your package meets the requirements of the new license, and you relabel it as such, then it will be included the next time a binary distribution is made. -- Dave ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: FREE SSL Guide from Thawte are you planning your Web Server Security?
