My X.h is very much "fucked" up but I have no idea how it happened, so I first posted before looking, I apologize,
thoroughly fscking your disks. That may help a little, but you probably need to reinstall those packages.
it had strange plist entries and unicode chars in it. I am rather concerned. A reinstall did fix it though.
