I've been working on porting a program called molmol to fink, and I had
it compiling fine. I installed the new X11.app and it even cured a
glitch I had been having with the display (the molecule wasn't centered
on the screen, but after the upgrade it was).
But when I went to recompile this, having changed nothing other than
X-11 (and installed the (new?) SDK), I now get error messages of the
type:
symbol _glGetColorTableParameterivEXT used from dynamic library
/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/
libGL.dylib(gll_api.o) not from earlier dynamic library
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.1.dylib(dri_dispatch.o)
make[4]: *** [molmol] Error 1
make[3]: *** [main] Error 2
make[2]: *** [default] Error 2
make[1]: *** [src] Error 2
make: *** [default] Error 2

I then spent about 5 hours messing around without avail.
Any suggestions? I've re-compiled just about everything in fink with
GL in it (libgl, glut, etc), tried the library fixing script again,
etc. but to no avail.
